Half Pint Jug

We are delighted to have acquired some stoneware by the accomplished studio potter Darren Ellis. Based at the esteemed Maze Hill pottery in Greenwich London, Darren crafts his beautiful, simple and functional pieces with thought and skill. Using his own considered "glaze chemistry" each piece in wonderfully unique. The salt/soda kiln or gas kiln further depicts the finish obtained making these cooking, serving & presentational pieces most special.

Half Pint Jug

A beautifully proportioned “round bellied jug”. The high iron content of the clay gives a “reddish” hue with real texture when fired in the salt kiln.
