Melin Tregwynt is a delightful white washed woollen mill to be found in a remote wooded valley on the Pembrokeshire coast. There has been a mill on this site since the 17th century, when local farmers would bring their fleeces to be spun into yarn and woven into fine Welsh wool blankets.
Owned by the same family from 1912 until 2022, when they set up an Employee Owned Trust. Recognising the skills and knowledge of all the staff is what keeps the tradition of Welsh weaving alive at Melin Tregwynt.
Vintage Rose Upholstery Cushion
This traditional welsh double cloth design is a lacy leaf-like repeating pattern with signature high contrast front and back. This small scale design was created back in the 1960’s.
This pure new wool Welsh tapestry cushion is supplied with feather pads. Like the blankets the cushion's traditional double cloth design is reversible.
Fabric is woven in 100% pure new British Wool .
